AniClin has the expertise and experience to conduct intravenous (IV) infusion toxicology studies in multiple species. This type of safety dosing assessment is used to mimic the route of administration and dose regimen intended for human use. Difficulties encountered with drugs that are poorly absorbed when administered via another route can necessitate the use of IV infusion to achieve higher systemic multiples of the clinical dose and/or to control the Cmax value.
